Highly pigmented and finely ground watercolors made by hand in the USA. Extra fine watercolors produce clean washes even layers and also possess superior lightfastness properties. A warm glowing earth color surprisingly smooth in washes. This natural ochre was mined from a deep vein that runs near the Loire River in western Burgundy. The mines were closed in 1970.
