Each stick is packed with pure pigment and produces vibrant strong color when wet or use them dry to build texture. They’re highly reactive with water and release rich creamy colors. This fire engine red is cleaner than Cadmium or Permanent Red. It is a modern synthetic-organic pigment. While close in value to its cousins the Perylenes it disperses more evenly and is less granular.
